The journey began with a goal: to create a branded wall that would serve as a visual centerpiece for our space while telling the story of Pike St. Press. We wanted to highlight our identity as a Seattle-based letterpress studio specializing in handcrafted goods like business cards, wedding stationery, stickers, and prints.

The Design: Bringing Ideas to Life
With a clear vision in mind, the next step was transforming the concept into a cohesive design. Using a grid system, we mapped out a layout that balanced functionality and aesthetics.

- Typography and Hierarchy: The bold “Custom Printing” header grabs attention, while smaller text details our services.
- Iconography: Custom illustrations of printing presses, tools, and Seattle landmarks connect to our roots and craft.
- Interactive Elements: Features like “Meet the Printer” add personality, introducing customers to the heart of our studio.
- Color and Texture: A minimal color palette with pops of red to complement our brand identity and focus attention on key areas.
