A Unique Storefront Signage Project on the Seattle Waterfront!
What a project it has been! When we set out to create a storefront sign, our goal was to design something unique and legible from afar. If you haven’t visited us yet, we’re located on the scenic Seattle waterfront, nestled under the viaduct—often referred to as “Camp Homeless” or “Ground Zero.”
Being just 300 feet from Alaskan Way, we needed a bold, visible typeface that truly embodied our printing shop’s character. We spent 2 literal days in Photoshop experimenting with layouts and fonts. Once we found the perfect typeface, we jumped into action.
With great weather on our side and plenty of tape, we meticulously laid out our template and painted through the night. After carefully removing the tape and doing a few touch-ups with the help of our intern Pat, we finally wrapped up this satisfying project.
