Storefront Painting Project

What a project! When we decided to put a sign up for the storefront, we wanted something that was unique and legible from afar. If you have not visited us we are located on the Seattle waterfront, and tucked away under the viaduct “aka” camp homeless “aka”ground zero. Being tucked away 300 feet from the main street of  Alaskan Way, we needed text that was large and visible. It was difficult to find a typeface that would embody our shop and we spent days (literally) on photoshop laying out the type. When we finally found a good typeface, we got to work. With great weather and tons of tape we laid out our template and began painting through the night. After carefully removing our tape and a few touchup’s from our intern Pat, our project came to a blissful end.
