Best Of: Summer Wedding Invitations

Invitations are one of the most important decisions you can make about your wedding. They are the first thing your guests will see, and likely one of the few things they will hang on to as a memento of your special day. Choosing the right paper stock, color scheme, and design elements to help to show the personality of the couple can be daunting, but working with Pike Street Press can make it easy. Just take it from these couples whose invitations knocked it out of the park this summer.

Janna and Michael’s navy blue envelopes open to reveal a Seattle skyline envelope liner that catches the eye and invites you to check out their invitation. Letterpress printed on our house stock, Crane Lettra 110# in Pearl White with a navy Pantone ink, the sharp serifs type contrasts beautifully with the sans serif body text.

Continuing the trend of personalized envelopes, Neha and Mike chose to have their maroon envelopes foiled with their address, and to include a custom envelope liner. A simple branch ties the envelope to the elements in the invitation. The invitation and RSVP card are letterpress and foil printed on a custom ordered paper with a deckled edge giving them a soft and romantic feel.

For the grand finale of our summer invitations, Sarah and Bryce chose to go all out on their custom invitation set. Upon first glance, a white envelope with a light gray return address may seem unassuming, but with a bright orange monogram of the couple’s initials on the inside, these invitations pop right off of their 220# Fluorescent white stock.

Details like the orange edge painting on the main invitation and a save the date coaster add to the uniqueness of this set, ensuring that Sarah and Bryce’s wedding invitations won’t be forgotten.
