Letterpress printing is a traditional relief printing process. The raised imagery or type is inked and pressed below the surface of the paper (debossed). The crisp results are unmatched with conventional digital printing methods. Custom plates are made for each color in all projects. (AKA: Imprinted )
A heated plate presses metallic or pigmented foils into the paper stock, producing stunning results. Foiling provides maximum opacity on unique paper stocks. Color options may be limited. Custom copper plates are made for all projects. (AKA: Foil Press, Hot Stamping )
A steel rule die cuts out shapes from the paper stock, much like cookie cutting but much more precise and production scale. Die-cutting can give your project its final finishing touch. Rounded corners, coasters, and tags are common items. Custom dies are made for exclusive results.
SCORING & PERFORATION
Scoring allows the stock to be precisely folded. Perforations allow for tearable portions of a printed piece, typically used for ticket stubs and tear-off RSVP cards. (AKA: crease, folding)
